BIOGRAPHY OF NTONGA LYDIA PHILADELPHIA

Ntonga Lydia Philadelphia Ndlangamandla better known as Intonga Yamantungwa was
born on the dusty streets of Ermelo (Mpumalanga) in wesselton Location on 11
December 1995 and she studied her primary at Phumula Primary School and later went
to Lindile High School where she completed her Matric.
Like every child she had a dream of becoming a Poetess, she developed the love and
passion for poems back in her early childhood stage. Being close to her parents, family
and high school friends, paying attention to the things that are happening around the
world, in her community and in her own life and always listening to artist like Sbo the
Poet and Mzwakhe Mbuli then she started writing her own poems.
In 2013 she then started performing her poems around schools and at churches. In the
year 2014 she started entering competitions around Mpumalanga Province, in 2015 she
helped backing a group called Inzulu Yemfihlakalo where she was featured in one of
their songs on the very same year she got an opportunity to record a CD with the stage
name of Intonga Yamantungwa by the tittle named LOVE.
She has won competitions around her Province, including Msukaligwa Arts and Culture
mini festival and Ermelo talent winter spree competition in the year 2016 just to
mention the few. Intonga has performed in various places, including performing for a
well respected and renowned ADVOCATE Mandla Zulu for his thanks giving ceremony
organized by V.O.C FM and Msukaligwa Municipality where she was invited as a guest
artist.
Intonga have worked with artist like Tyro, Sesh Cash and Cya of the smash hit IMALI.
Her music has landed her interviews around Mpumalanga Radio stations and also her
poets are being played in stations like, Mkhondo FM, V.O.C FM, Mash FM and Ligwa FM
just to name the few.
One thing should be known about her is the love of God she has and the love of her
family.
