Meet Prince Lukele; East Coast Radio's Voice Over Artist.

Khauhelo Lukele also known as Prince Lukele is an

enthusiastic 29 year old entertainer devoted to quality in all aspects of life. Prince is an open minded, loyal, consistent, optimistic and respectful individual. Prince always radiates positivity in his work and those around him, he has been perusing his dreams as an entertainer since the age of 17 where he co starred in a number of theatre productions at The South African State Theatre in Pretoria and a number of television shows.

Being an artistic individual who takes pleasure in working with people as well as entertaining them, in 2015 Prince got a call from youth show Bona Retsang which airs on Sabc1 every Monday, Wednesday and Friday to become their field presenter at the age of 22 shooting at different locations as well as on numerous topics that affect the youth and this grabbed the attention of many young people across the country and made Prince an iconic figure to young boys.

A diligent and hard-working person who performs best in jobs that allow him to grow and stretch his talents Prince continued to grow in the acting and presenting game to the point where producers from the Red Pepper Production titled Cool Catz which aired on e.tv every weekday and weekend heard of this young talent in 2016 and gave him a call to come freelance on the set of Cool Catz as a Voice Over Artist. Which made Prince the very first young black vocally versatile artist in the production history of Cool Catz.

Mkhulu Prince possesses a strong eye for detail and creativity, Prince went on to go do a short radio presenting course at OnCue Communications where he met a number of influencers and was exposed to be trained by the best in hopes of being the best. Prince came out top 5 in his class providing him the opportunity to intern at Metro FM for a month on William Lehong’s 3-6am show with a segment titled “shelling time”.

An intuitive and free thinking individual Mkhulu Prince moved back to Durban to take care of the family business and manage the ins and outs of the business however entertainment continued to follow him and call his name when he heard there was a casting for a presenter for a popular youth show on 1KZN TV. Prince took the bull by the horns and ran with the show, the show contributed to Prince becoming a bit of a household name in Durban to the point of fans giving him the nickname #Durbanboy on social media. “It still feels weird when I am approached by people who remember me from a show I shot many weeks back.” says Prince

An emotionally disciplined individual who is concerned about moral standards and rules however Prince does not always play by the rules he says there was a huge void in his heart even though he was juggling 2 careers at once but Prince ran back to his first love being radio and sent his demo in through to Durban Youth Radio Programs Manager and was hired on the spot to co-host a midnight show and as time went on Prince grew as a radio broadcaster tackling night and prime shows to hosting a show with popular Durban DJ Miss Liang where the combo made street magic every Friday nights from 7-10pm.
